Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end from American football that played in the National Football League. He was a 17-year veteran on the field. He is regarded as one of the greatest tight ends in history and the NFL's all-time leader in receiving yards as well as receptions by a tight end, along with ranking third overall in receiving
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as Atlanta Falcons, is currently working in FOX's studio. Gonzalez was an anchor on FOX NFL KICKOFF - FOX NFL KICKOFF is FOX NFL's pregame show that airs prior to FOX NFLSUNDAY. The show airs at 11:00 AM ET each Sunday throughout the NFL season.
On March 15th, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign to the Falcons for a two-year $14 million contract despite claiming that the Falcons would let him go at the end of 2013. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the league's top player in active yards recieving the last time during his playing career.
